The tube map metaphor can be used to highlight issues in a way that encourages people to think about and discuss them. They are excellent for showing interconnectedness. Lines are distinct entities that sometimes ‘share’ stations. Each line depicts unique factors but some are common between lines. We developed our first tube map graphic when we created the Brexit Maps.
